Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,632–$1,693 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for adults in the acute neuro and medical-surgical unit, including neuro-focused assessments and monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; evaluate response and document thoroughly
- Monitor neuro status, vital signs, pain levels, and safety, escalating changes as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Assist with prioritization, triage, and patient flow; support discharge planning and patient education

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia; current and in good standing
- BLS from a recognized agency; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Neuro or Med‑Surg settings
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and a rotating schedule; capable of performing in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Unit-specific competency for Acute Neuro Unit care (612F) and Med-Surg duties
