Radiology Tech – CT Tech needed for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting in Lodi, CA. Start date is 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images used by radiologists for diagnosis.
- Perform a range of imaging procedures as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy when appropriate.
- Position patients, manage contrast administration, and ensure patient safety and comfort across adolescent to geriatric populations.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiology team; verify patient data and maintain accurate workflow documentation.
- Maintain image quality, perform routine equipment maintenance/calibration, and manage supply inventories.
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines; document procedures and assist with billing records as required.
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: CA Radiologic Technologist license; ARRT RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) with ARRT; CT advanced certification required; BLS certification; Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy; Venipuncture certification if performing venipuncture.
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiologic technology experience.
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced CT/radiography setting; willingness to travel for a travel assignment; ability to work evenings as indicated.
