Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and administer medications and procedures per unit protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Document care, communicate with patients and families, and ensure safety and quality of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth transitions across care settings.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts
- Availability for an 8-week travel assignment starting 11/09/2026
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
