Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for adult ICU, adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III patients as assigned
- Manage ventilator support, non-invasive ventilation, airway clearance, and weaning per physician orders
- Perform ABG collection, analysis, and interpretation; adjust therapies as indicated
- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, airway clearance techniques) and monitor patient response
- Document care and patient status in the electronic health record (Epic); participate in rounds and care planning
- Respond to respiratory emergencies; collaborate with physicians and nursing teams; ensure equipment safety and proper maintenance
- Schedule and staffing may require weekends as needed; flexibility in schedule is essential

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT); CRT not accepted; NBRC verification required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP required upon submission); NBRC verification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RT experience; prior travel experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required; Epic experience within the past 2 years
- Education: Not specified in the notes
- Additional: Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting; NICU/PICU experience and ability to document NICU levels in work history
