Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA starting 05/18/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,643 to $1,728 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Night, 2x3. Work setting is a hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neuro/PCU patients with neurology and stepdown needs
- Monitor neurological status, perform NIHSS assessments, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and operate monitoring equipment
- Document in EPIC and communicate effectively with the neuro-focused multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case management to implement care plans and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety, fall prevention, infection control, and adherence to standard of care
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys license verification
- NIHSS must be included in the CV packet to be considered
- Neuro stepdown experience required; strong med/surg background with NIHSS and ACLS may be considered
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in neurology/stepdown
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- No block scheduling; weekends required
- Candidate profile must include: resume with no gaps >60 days, skills checklist, references, certification card, and Nursys license verification; load all demographic information into profile, including a badge-appropriate picture
