Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – Havre, Montana – Travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility starting 05/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,104-$2,238 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy addressing impairments and functional limitations to improve quality of life.
- Perform PT assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapy, and monitor patient progress.
- Document assessments and treatments in accordance with licensure requirements and facility policies; collaborate with physicians and other members of the care team.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs; adapt instruction to gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.
- Maintain patient safety, adhere to infection control practices, and provide compassionate, empathetic care while supporting discharge planning and functional goals.
Requirements
- Professional education program completed that is accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and eligible for Montana licensure.
- Current Montana Physical Therapy license and BLS certification.
- Amiable personality with sound judgment and the ability to maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude toward patients.
- Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screen.
- In-state travelers will be considered only if located more than 250 miles from Havre, MT; out-of-state travelers are welcome.
