Travel Radiology Ultrasound Tech Job
Ultrasound Tech – Radiology, traveling assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,011–$2,088 per week. Rotating shift. Work setting: hospital-based travel assignment. Onboarding requires arrival the Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance.

Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of ultrasound examinations across abdomen (Aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, and renal), including both normal and pathologic findings.
- Image and assess gynecologic imaging (breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis) including pathology and normal findings, post-menopausal, transvaginal, and adult/pediatric patients.
- Conduct obstetric ultrasound (1st–3rd trimester) with related procedures such as amniocentesis, biophysical profile, placental grading, and assessment of gestational age, IGUR, and uterine/adnexal evaluation.
- Perform neonatal studies focused on congenital anomalies and neonatal head imaging.
- Evaluate superficial structures (abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematomas, scrotum/tests, thyroid) and vascular studies (carotid duplex; segmental pressure studies; upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).
- Assist with procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasound as indicated.
- Document findings and measurements accurately; utilize equipment and software including Canon i700, Fuji Synapse PACS, and Meditech EMR.
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient flow; maintain standard infection control and patient privacy.
- Maintain readiness to float to other units/departments as needed and adhere to unit-specific policies; follow 40-hour weekly expectations with on-call as appropriate.
- Adhere to hospital dress code and professional standards; participate in onboarding orientation as required.
Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification in AB, OB, and RVT
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience in an acute hospital setting
- Proficiency in abdomen, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular ultrasound
- Ability to work in a hospital environment and float to other units as needed
- Availability to start on 04/20/2026 and complete a 13-week travel assignment
