Registered Nurse – PCU, Travel assignment in Brunswick, GA. Start date 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay: $1,640–$1,752 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Setting: hospital-based, high-acuity tele-step-down unit. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for high-acuity PCU/IMCU and Tele‑M/S patients per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient status, titrate medications and drips as directed, and manage ventilator settings for stable vents in consult with the care team.
- Perform accurate documentation in Cerner and participate in handoffs, rounds, and care planning with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain patient safety and quality metrics, including infection control practices and timely response to changes in condition.
- Float to Tele and Tele‑M/S units as needed, adapting to staffing and acuity while maintaining continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and equipment, and coordinate with case management for discharge planning.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and to float to Tele/Tele‑M/S units as needed
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (ADN/BSN accepted)
- Willingness to work 3x12-hour night shifts and participate in contract-based scheduling
