Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date 05/04/2026 for a 13-week contract on a 3x12 Night shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,707 to $1,820 with no guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Monitor, assess, and care for critically ill patients in the ICU, including hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of telemetry data.
- Manage life-support therapies and ventilator weaning as prescribed by the care team.
- Administer medications, draw labs, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and timely; maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety.
Requirements
- California RN license (active) required
- ICU/acute care experience: Minimum 3 years in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- BSN: Preferred
- CPR/BLS required (HS-BLS or RQIBLS acceptable)
- ACLS required
- PALS required (PALS, HS-PALS, or RQIPALS acceptable)
- Ability to work within an acute care ICU environment during the specified shift and assignment duration
