Responsibilities
- Provide routine bedside and ADL assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Perform basic nursing tasks under supervision, such as taking vital signs and reporting changes to the care team.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Observe resident condition, document observations, and communicate changes to supervising staff.
- Support meals, hygiene, and comfort; maintain a clean, safe living environment.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or eligibility to practice as a CNA.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12) and adapt to a variable schedule.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow care plans and documentation protocols.
- Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
