Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – Home Health (Hospice) in Oakland, California. Start date: March 27, 2026. 13-week travel assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: Days. Setting: Home healthcare - hospice. Weekly pay: $2,610–$2,676 per week.

Responsibilities
- Prioritize start of care visits and conduct initial assessments
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as part of the therapy team
- Complete start-of-care visits with next-day reporting as required
- Document clinical notes and other required documentation within 48 hours of each visit
- Maintain timely, professional communication with supervisor, intake, and office; stay responsive during normal business hours
- Travel to patient homes within the assigned service area and utilize provided equipment (iPad) and documentation system (Kinnser)
Requirements
- Active California PT license
- One year of Home Health experience
- Ability to perform start-of-care visits and supervise PTAs
- Proficiency with the Kinnser documentation system
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between patient homes
- Willingness to work in a home health/hospice setting and travel within the assigned service area
