Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) in Plentywood, Montana. This travel, temporary assignment begins on 05/27/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Expect weekly pay in the range of $1,671 to $1,801 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights. Work setting is a hospital with a 19-bed Critical Access Hospital ER, requiring strong ER skills to cover the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting to the ER, including triage and initial assessment.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of patient status, including vital signs, pain control, wound care, and basic life support as part of the ED team.
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist with exams, imaging, and resuscitation efforts as required; participate in code events and rapid response situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient flow and ensure safe, efficient care.
- Document care accurately and timely; communicate handoffs to oncoming staff and other departments.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Montana or eligibility to practice in Montana
- Demonstrated ER nursing skills or strong ER clinical capabilities
- Ability to work the Night shift in a hospital ER setting
- Comfortable operating in a 19-bed Critical Access Hospital environment
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and patient safety focus
- Prior travel nursing or acute care experience is desirable but not required
