Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an IMCU/PCU unit, focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory care
- Monitor clinical status, manage hemodynamics, and respond to changes in patient condition; support post-op and step-down patients
- Operate and manage complex equipment as described (temp pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP/Neptune Vapo), including chronic ventilator support with RT assistance as needed
- Administer prescribed medications, titrate therapies per protocol, and collaborate with the care team for timely interventions
- Document assessments, treatments, and responses in the EMR (EPIC); participate in care coordination and discharge planning
- Maintain flexibility to float to other units as required; adhere to unit standards, safety protocols, and infection control practices

Requirements
- Active NY Registered Nurse license; NURSYS license verification with ACTIVE NY license and all RN licenses
- Up-to-date resume showing 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience and documentation of travel experience
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- EMR experience required: EPIC
- Drivers license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting and float to related units as needed
