Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients in the dialysis center
- Provide patient education on dialysis treatment, medications, and self-care
- Supervise Dialysis Technicians and coordinate with the patient care team
- Adjust treatment plans per standing orders and care plans, monitoring patient responses
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Participate in quality improvement projects and collaborate with social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists
Requirements
- Active RN license from the WA State Board of Nursing or a Multi-State Compact license
- Current CPR with Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Previous dialysis experience is required
- Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing is preferred
- Ability to work across peninsula locations in WA and participate in a travel assignment
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
