Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate clinical education and nursing professional development for staff across the consortium; align activities with regulatory requirements and certification standards.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs (including human patient simulators) and maintain competency in essential certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC instructor preferred).
- Oversee trauma registrar activities and trauma program designations; partner with trauma coordinators and outlying clinics to sustain designation standards and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with site and department leaders to identify educational needs, drive performance improvement initiatives, and ensure education aligns with the organization’s mission and standards.
- Manage the planning and execution of scheduled classes; supervise a clinical education team and coordinate resources for skill-building across adult and geriatric populations.
- Maintain regulatory and credentialing requirements, including licensure, ongoing certifications, and vaccine requirements; serve as a liaison for education-related regulatory updates.

Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license at time of submittal; Direct Hire must have applied for Alaska licensure before start date; agency staff must hold an active Alaska license.
- Proof of influenza vaccination required.
- 3 years of professional clinical instructor experience.
- 5 years of professional nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years as staff RN in a specialty (ER, ICU, OB, OR); remote/rural and trauma-focused experience preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; TNCC instructor certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ability to obtain and maintain state licensure; capable of operating in a multi-site healthcare environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
