Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse - ER in White Sulphur Springs, MT. Start date is 07/16/2026 for a 13-week duration. Weekly pay ranges from $1,655 to $1,738 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. Responsibilities
- Provide ER nursing care and acute care services, including initial assessments, continuous monitoring, and timely triage decisions.
- Triage patients in the ER and determine priorities, initiating appropriate interventions and escalating care as needed.
- Work as a team lead on the unit, supervising CNA and coordinating with LPN and other nursing staff.
- Participate in patient rounds and assist with LTC duties at night, including rounds and toileting responsibilities.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, perform standard procedures, and document patient status per policy.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control practices, and communicate clearly with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff.
Requirements
- ER and acute care nursing experience; able to triage in ER and manage low census with efficiency.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required; TNCC is preferred.
- Availability for the night-shift schedule (3x12s) and to work within a rural Critical Access setting.
- Ability to supervise nursing support staff (CNA, LPN) and collaborate across disciplines.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills; comfort with a small, close-knit team.
