Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex imaging, as prescribed by the physician using established standards and procedures.
- Review studies for quality and accuracy; document and communicate imaging findings clearly, including measurements and observations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; adhere to safety, infection control, and patient privacy protocols.
- Position patients, ensure comfort and safety during exams, and manage patient flow to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with vascular specialists and radiologists to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.
Requirements
- ARDMS RVT certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Demonstrated ability to perform vascular ultrasound imaging and document findings
- Ability to work in a hospital vascular lab environment
- Availability for day shift, five days per week; no on-call requirement
