Responsibilities
- Perform interventional and diagnostic cardiac cath lab procedures, including left heart catheterizations, high-risk PCI, and right heart catheterizations.
- Support pacemaker and other device implant procedures; participate in peripheral procedures and structural heart cases as needed.
- Operate and assist with specialized cath lab equipment and procedures (EMCO, EKOS, and related technologies); maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.
- Prepare the lab, assist the cardiology team during procedures, monitor patient status, and participate in post-procedure care and documentation.
- Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to ensure patient safety, procedure quality, and efficient case flow; manage equipment and supply inventories as required.
- Maintain compliance with AHA BLS requirements and ensure adherence to cath lab standards and documentation practices; demonstrate competency in cath lab protocols.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience in interventional/diagnostic settings.
- Certification: AART or RCIS required; BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Education: Associate degree in Health Science or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology).
- Must have cath lab experience and be able to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.
- Ability to work in a hospital cath lab setting and meet travel assignment requirements; willingness to comply with schedule (10-hour days, four days per week) and location-specific restrictions.
