Travel Registered Nurse Cardiac Tele Job
Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry – Nights in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. Start date: 05/18/2026. Travel assignment for several weeks on a Cardiac Telemetry unit. Shift: Nights, 3x12s with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Setting: inpatient hospital unit focused on adult cardiac telemetry care.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; identify and respond to dysrhythmias; document findings in the patient record
- Provide comprehensive telemetry care for adult cardiac patients, including post-cardiac cath/PCI and post-op cardiac care
- Monitor external pacemakers and chest tubes as applicable; initiate IV access and maintain IV lines
- Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips per protocol (no titration required)
- Collaborate with cardiology, surgical teams, and nursing colleagues to ensure safe, evidence-based care and timely escalation as needed
- Chart in the electronic health record (EPIC) and contribute to care planning and patient education
Requirements
- MissouriRN license required or eligible for licensure by endorsement; pending license accepted per submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry or a related adult unit
- BCLS (BLS) and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule; typical ratios 1:5–6; willingness to float within scope
- Orientation provided: 38 hours; pre-approved time off up to 2 days; RTO up to 7 days during contract; no RTO during the first week
- Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted for this travel assignment
