Radiology Tech – Interventional Radiology Tech, traveling assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,502–$2,568 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Setting: Home healthcare - hospice. This is a travel temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system during interventional procedures, aiding physicians in diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
- Position and immobilize patients on examination tables, utilizing appropriate supports and following protocol to optimize image quality.
- Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab, including management of equipment and sterile technique.
- Produce, review, and document digital images per orders; ensure image quality meets department standards; assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions as appropriate; participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (Required)
- ARRT certification (Preferred)
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor (Required)
- PVMB/TEAM/CPI or equivalent Crisis/Aggression management certification (Required)
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification (Required)
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent in radiologic technology; Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in radiology or interventional radiology; experience as Special Procedures Technologist preferred
- Other: Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting; willingness to participate in after-hours call as required (with details provided during interview)
