Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Position: LPN|LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Start date: 04/01/2026. 6-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift pattern: 12-hour shifts on a rotation (3 on/2 off/2 on/3 off), local candidates only. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) - travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care under supervision, following the care plan.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document outcomes.
- Conduct routine nursing assessments, record vital signs, and escalate changes to the supervising RN/physician.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation in charts and electronic systems; ensure compliant handoffs during shift changes.
- Uphold infection control practices, safety protocols, and a therapeutic environment for residents.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Alabama (or eligibility per state requirements)
- Local candidate only; ability to work within the local assignment area
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and the specified rotation
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved LPN program
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow care plans and work in a fast-paced SNF setting
- Ability to pass standard health screening and background checks
