Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care and assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative experience.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate tasks for surgical patients.
- Adhere to established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among the health care team.
- Represent the RNFA role with leadership and professionalism within facility policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team and report to the Director of Perioperative Services as needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (California)
- Experience in perioperative care and/or as an RN First Assistant (RNFA) preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital perioperative environment and participate in rotating 10-hour shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice
