Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in Hanford, CA. Start date 05/26/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $1,926–$2,058 per week. Guaranteed hours 0.0. Shift 11:00–23:30. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including preoperative prep, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative handoff
- Assist with DaVinci robotic-assisted procedures and manage associated equipment and instrumentation
- Maintain strict sterile technique, surgical counts, and patient positioning to ensure safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia team, and circulator staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Document perioperative care in the medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
- Manage on-call responsibilities: Friday call on a rotating basis and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- OR nursing experience required
- DaVinci robotic system experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required; Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work 11:00–23:30 schedule with on-call and weekend coverage as noted
Education
- Nursing degree required (RN)
