Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult residents in a long-term care setting per physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as permitted by licensure and facility policy
- Conduct ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, and document findings
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate with CNAs, physicians, social work, and families to ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care
- Maintain accurate records, ensure infection control practices, and uphold patient safety standards
Requirements
- Current New York Registered Nurse license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- Experience: LTC or geriatric care experience is preferred; at minimum, RN licensure with strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work night shifts and to obtain necessary facility orientations and clearances
- Eligibility to work in the United States
