Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents under supervision, including routine nursing tasks and observation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions, documenting findings accurately
- Perform routine assessments, take vital signs, and assist with wound care as directed
- Collaborate with registered nurses and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting safety and comfort
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in the patient’s chart and electronic health record; report changes promptly
Requirements
- Active LPN license to practice in New Mexico
- Completion of an approved LPN program
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work the listed shift and maintain a local assignment
- Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (if not currently on file, the employer may require it)
