Travel Sonographer Job
This travel position is for a Sonographer specializing in Cardiovascular Ultrasound, based in Concord, New Hampshire. The assignment begins 06/01/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. You will work a 4-day, 10-hour shift pattern (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), with Wednesdays off and rotating on-call duties approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The role is hospital-based, offering guaranteed 40 hours per week and a weekly pay range of $2,996–$3,064. Responsibilities
- Perform cardiovascular ultrasound studies, including vascular duplex exams and echocardiography as ordered, adhering to department protocols
- Acquire and optimize high-quality images; apply color Doppler and spectral analysis; ensure patient comfort and safety
- Document findings in the electronic medical record, communicate pertinent results to supervising physicians, and escalate urgent findings per protocol
- Maintain ultrasound equipment through routine quality control and preventative maintenance; observe infection control and safety standards
- Collaborate with a small, focused sonography team; adapt to unit workflows and support coverage as needed; may float to other local sites within the region
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire license to perform diagnostic ultrasound; temporary licensure option available at submission
- BLS certification
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) by CCI or RVS (Registered Vascular Tech) by ARDMS
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular laboratory experience; 2 years in an acute care vascular lab preferred
- Recent unit-specific experience within the last 6 months; same-unit experience within the last 9 months acceptable if competencies are demonstrated
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to float to other local sites as needed
