Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Glendale, California. Start date: April 27, 2026 for a 26-week engagement. 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts (3 days per week). Responsibilities
- Triage, assess, and treat trauma and emergency patients across age groups in an acute care context, following ER protocols
- Initiate appropriate interventions, monitor patient status, and escalate to physicians or rapid response as needed
- Provide direct patient care within established policies, including monitoring vital signs, airway management, bleeding control, and supporting sedation per policy
- Document care accurately, communicate with the multidisciplinary team, and assist with patient and family education and care planning
- Ensure safety, infection control, and readiness of equipment; maintain compliant, complete charting and handoffs
Requirements
- NCI required
- Moderate Sedation Training required
- ER/trauma care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity emergency setting within a home healthcare - hospice framework
