Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Properly position patients and select appropriate exposure factors to obtain diagnostic images
- Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining ALARA principles
- Ensure image quality, review for artifacts, and request repeats only when clinically necessary
- Verify patient identity and obtain informed consent as required; document procedures and results in the patient record
- Collaborate with radiology team and referring clinicians; communicate findings within scope of practice and facility policy
Requirements
- Ability to perform radiographic imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Availability for 10-hour shifts, with potential weekend coverage as needed
- Start date readiness by 05/10/2026; ability to begin within two weeks of submission per assignment rules
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, short-term acute care setting
