Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
LPN travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date April 1, 2026 for a 1-week contract. Weekly pay range $634-$685 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift 06:00–18:30. Setting: Long-term care (LTC) – Nursing Home. This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document vital signs, and report changes promptly to the supervising RN.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, feeding, and nutrition support; promote dignity and independence.
- Perform routine nursing procedures such as wound care, urinary catheter care, ostomy care, and specimen collection as assigned.
- Maintain accurate charting in electronic medical records; ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, update, and implement individualized care plans; participate in rounds and family communications.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain.
- Ability to perform a 12.5-hour shift (06:00–18:30) and work within a long-term care environment.
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
