Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in Lodi, California. This is a travel, temporary assignment beginning 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,595 to $1,710. The schedule consists of 3x12-hour daytime shifts (approximately 36–48 hours per week) on a short-term acute care setting that includes mixed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. The position requires an active RN license in California, BLS and ACLS certifications, and Cerner EHR experience. A strong telemetry background is preferred to support care on mixed MS/Tele units. This is a direct assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for Med Surg Tele patients, prioritizing safety, comfort, and timely treatment plans
- Monitor telemetry, document and interpret EKG rhythms, and respond to telemetry alarms per unit protocols
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform treatments within scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and adjust plans of care based on patient assessment and progress
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Cerner EHR; ensure compliance with hospital policies
- Support patient education and discharge planning, coordinating with family and care partners as appropriate
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Cerner electronic health record experience
- 2 years of Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced MS/Tele unit and meet unit-specific shift requirements
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (RN education)
