Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, assisting staff nurses in treatment and care per established hospital methods.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and document responses.
- Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient education while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- document vitals, changes in condition, and care plans; communicate effectively with the care team.
- Respond to patient and family needs with a patient- and family-centered approach; participate in rounds and care planning.
- Uphold infection control practices and safety protocols; escalate concerns to the charge nurse or physician as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- 2+ years of RN experience in Long-Term Care (LTC)
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and on a 3x12 night rotation
- MI LTC fingerprinting documentation is a noted selling point; candidates with fingerprinting or ability to complete it promptly are preferred
