Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients on inpatient rehab or acute care units, under supervision as appropriate
- Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans to meet patient goals and clinical priorities
- Conduct and participate in co-treatments with PTAs in acute care when applicable
- Document patient progress, maintain timely notes, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in rounds and care planning with therapists, physicians, and other care providers
- Support a patient caseload approaching an average of 12 patients per day, depending on unit needs and patient acuity
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma COTA licensure
- NBCOT certification
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Graduation from an accredited OTA program
- Skills Checklist current within 1 year; two Supervisory Reference Forms within the last two years
- Ability to work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit or acute care setting
- New graduates accepted; recent traveler experience preferred
- Oklahoma state licensure and eligibility to work in the U.S.
