Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) Travel assignment in Watertown, NY. Start date: 05/11/2026 for a 13-week duration. Night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,393–$2,514. Work setting: hospital emergency department. This position is a travel temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ER patients across a wide range of acuity, including initial assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing treatment.
- Administer medications, perform IV placement, and implement prescribed therapies while monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and other disciplines to coordinate timely interventions and safe patient transitions.
- Document patient care accurately in the MEDITECH electronic health record; communicate effectively with the care team and patient families.
- Recognize life-threatening changes, intervene promptly, and assist with stabilizing patients; may assume charge nurse duties as assigned.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, including safe patient handling and use of lifting devices as appropriate; support discharge planning and education.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
- MEDITECH experience required
- Travel experience required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Additional preferred qualifications: critical care and charge experience
