Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic studies requested, with or without IV contrast, including brain, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial, and extremities
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment, image processors, and related systems; ensure image quality and accurate patient positioning per procedure guidelines
- Demonstrate competency in RIS and PACS; enter and edit patient exams, documents, and charges
- Adhere to infection control practices and universal precautions; apply proper radiation protection for self, patient, and staff
- Adapt communication to comfort patients across infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations; provide clear instructions during procedures
- Maintain readiness for emergency coverage and on-call when required; support coverage on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Complete QC activities and follow NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines
Requirements
- NYS Licensure (Radiologic Technologist) and ARRT Certification (Radiography and CT)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience with solid radiography/X-ray experience, or C-Arm experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment and across diverse patient populations
- Education as specified by licensing and certification requirements; no additional education details provided
