Travel Registered Nurse Clinic Job
Travel Registered Nurse – GI Interventional team in Glenwood Springs, CO. This 13-week travel assignment begins 06/02/2026 with 38 guaranteed hours per week, on a 5x8 days shift. The role supports pancreatobiliary and complex gastroenterology care, including conditions affecting the pancreas, swallowing, stents, and related digestive health needs, with focus on liver issues and reflux within the community. No on-call; no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for GI interventional procedures and ambulatory care, including pre-procedure and post-procedure assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, monitor patient status, and respond to changes per protocol.
- Assist with GI procedures (pancreatobiliary and other complex endoscopy) and post-procedure care; document findings in the medical record; identify and escalate potential complications.
- Collaborate with the GI interventional team and coordinate with physicians and other care professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, expected outcomes, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions; support informed consent processes as required.
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and privacy standards; ensure accurate charting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- 2 years GI RN experience (interventional/GI ambulatory care)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date
- Prior RN clinic/ambulatory care experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
- Ability to work in an ambulatory/interventional GI care setting
