Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist in Delta, Colorado. Start date: June 8, 2026. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 guaranteed hours per week in an inpatient rehabilitation care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,305 to $2,323. Shift: Monday–Friday. The position supports a hospital-based rehabilitation services team focusing on meaningful, functional recovery and readiness for discharge.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients, interpret evaluations and test results, and develop OT treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
- Implement therapy programs to improve or restore physical and mental functioning, including activities of daily living, sensory-motor tasks, and functional skills; supervise aides, technicians, and assistants.
- Promote maximum independence by tailoring therapies to each patient’s capacity, intelligence level, and interests; support prevocational, vocational, homemaking, and community reintegration activities.
- Prepare patients for return to work by coordinating with employers, retraining as needed, and educating on reasonable accommodations.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, adjust treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning with the care team; provide home exercise programs and caregiver instructions.
- Maintain safety, infection control, confidentiality, and documentation; ensure equipment operation and maintenance; contribute to professional development and team training.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Valid NBCOT registration/certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Prior OT experience preferred; ability to work effectively in an inpatient care setting.
- Knowledge of assessment and treatment of physical and mental dysfunctions; strong communication and customer-service orientation.
