Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a Telemetry RN, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics for adult patients.
- Interpret telemetry strips, identify dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to abnormal findings and alarms.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders; document accurately in the EMR (Cerner experience is preferred).
- Collaborate with the care team to implement care plans, update progress notes, and escalate concerns to the physician as needed.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor vitals, and ensure safety and quality standards; contribute to care coordination during shifts.
- May be requested to float to related units or affiliated facilities in the area; maintain compliance with unit standards and acuity guidelines.

Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at submission; license must be in good standing and current to start.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NHISS required prior to start.
- 2+ years of Telemetry experience preferred; 1–2 years of Med-Surg experience is also considered necessary; open to Critical Care RNs if comfortable with med-surg ratios and acuity.
- NURSYS license verification for all active RN licenses.
- Resume must be up to date and include 2+ years of experience in the specialty and any travel experience; will also need documentation of travel experience.
- Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%.
- RTO (time off) request must be included at submission.
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting as a travel RN; Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required.
