Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues to support medical diagnoses.
- Perform imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy as assigned.
- Position patients, explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, and monitor for safety while optimizing image quality.
- Verify orders, maintain imaging records, and perform routine equipment checks and basic quality control.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to complete exams accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for approximately 13 weeks in Sonora, CA.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3x12-hour shifts) and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Proficiency in CT imaging and additional radiography/fluoroscopy procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.
