Responsibilities
- Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations of residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, or cognitive-communication concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; deliver direct therapy and adjust plans based on progress.
- Document all therapy sessions, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team (nursing, dietary, rehabilitative therapies) to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, compensation techniques, and safe swallowing precautions.

- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting May 4, 2026
- Day shift schedule: 08:00–16:30, five days per week
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Strong documentation, communication, and interprofessional collaboration skills
- Experience in adult speech-language pathology and relevant clinical competencies
