Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU Travel assignment in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Start date: 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 2,400 to 2,595 USD per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments (these guaranteed hours do not include on-call time). Candidates must be separated from their previous employer for at least 6 months; no local applicants. Massachusetts RN license required; Epic experience preferred. Dysrhythmia and medications tests are required prior to acceptance.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care for PCU patients, including ongoing assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips (e.g., amiodarone, nitroglycerin, Cardizem, insulin, dobutamine) per physician orders; monitor responses and adjust as needed.
- Monitor telemetry and rhythm strips, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to changes in patient condition per protocol.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate with physicians, and support discharge planning.
- Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic), including vital signs, medications, drips, and progress notes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility to obtain) required.
- PCU and telemetry experience required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Epic experience required.
- Ability to pass pre-acceptance tests (dysrhythmia and medications) with a passing score (85%); tests administered prior to assignment; one attempt only.
- Must be separated from the prior employer for 6+ months; no local applicants.
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN).
- Ability to work in a high-acuity PCU/telemetry setting and adhere to shift requirements.
