Registered Nurse - Operating Room travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,000-$2,073 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Work setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; maintain sterile technique; support the surgical team and anesthesia providers; manage equipment and supplies.
- Assess patient data, identify potential issues, and implement clinically appropriate interventions.
- Position and prepare patients for procedures, assist with operative tasks, and document intraoperative events.
- Collaborate with the treatment team and participate in discharge planning, providing education to patients and families as appropriate.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff as assigned, coordinating care delivery across disciplines.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (California) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS (American Heart Association or ARC) required; facility-specific BLS certification required; AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS required.
- Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field. Acute care facility experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Ability to work in a perioperative setting and to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff.
