Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER in Aberdeen, WA for a travel (temporary assignment) position starting 06/29/2026. The role runs for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, on a 3x12 night schedule (1830–0700). Weekly pay ranges from $2,117 to $2,307. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, competent emergency nursing care to ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, vital sign monitoring, and rapid intervention.
- Administer medications, start IVs, order and interpret point-of-care tests, and coordinate imaging and labs as ordered.
- Implement emergency protocols, respond to deteriorating patients, and support physicians and other team members in high-acuity situations.
- Manage patient flow and bed availability, prioritize care, and provide discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, coordinating staffing, assignments, and communications to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to unit policies, including any required shift-specific or hospital-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Active Washington State RN license or multi-state license with the following verifications: approved 6-hour suicide training and Nursys demographics verification.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
- Emergency Department nursing experience with charge nurse responsibilities preferred.
- Ability to work the night shift (1830–0700) in a fast-paced ED environment.
- RTO (time off) requests must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract with full scheduling availability.
- Knowledge of ED operations and teamwork; Meditech experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be a team player with solid clinical judgment and strong communication skills.
