Charge Nurse, Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Springfield, CO. Start 05/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,910–$2,013 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital; Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Initiate assessment and triage in the ER within minutes of presentation; document assessment and nursing diagnoses using standards and clinical judgment.
- Develop and implement a patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team; adjust as patient condition evolves and coordinate with physicians, case management, and support staff.
- Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and ward clerks as assigned; ensure accurate handoffs and continuity of care.
- Monitor patient outcomes, participate in discharge planning, and provide education to patients and families; communicate care plans and significant changes to the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, PPE, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; contribute to performance improvement activities and ongoing education.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS; ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred (ER or acute care highly valued)
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-acuity ER environment; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork
- Proficiency in electronic documentation and ability to document clearly and accurately; English language proficiency required
