Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive PACU and Pre-Op nursing care for postoperative patients
- Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain control, and hemodynamic stability; promptly respond to evolving conditions
- Administer medications as ordered; observe for adverse reactions and document responses
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams; ensure accurate handoffs and smooth transition of care to PACU
- Document assessments, interventions, and discharge planning; maintain clear, compliant nursing notes
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1 year PACU and Pre-Op experience
- Ability to work 4x10-hour daytime shifts with varying start times (earliest 0600)
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (8 shifts per month, weekends/holidays)
- Travel experience preferred; new graduates not accepted
