Registered Nurse, PCU travel assignment in Fort Myers, FL, starting 01/15/2027 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,008 to $2,188 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for PCU patients, including ongoing assessments and development of individualized care plans.
- Monitor vitals and telemetry, administer medications and infusions, and support IV therapies and line management; provide chemo-related care if indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and multidisciplinary teams to adjust care plans as patient conditions evolve.
- Document accurately in the Epic EMR; ensure timely charting and communication of changes in patient status; escalate concerns per protocol.
- Educate patients and families, discharge planning, and coordination with ancillary services as needed.
- Maintain unit standards and participate in floating to sister campuses when required; operate within a 50-mile radius policy.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Chemo certification preferred.
- EMR: Epic experience preferred.
- Degree accreditation must be on profile or candidate must have 5 years of RN experience.
- Willingness to float as needed and work within the stated radius and assignment policies.
- RTO requests must be submitted with submittal; hard document deadline is Monday prior to start.
