Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for post-procedural and Med/Surg/Telemetry patients
- Monitor and assess patient condition, administer medications, manage IVs, and document care
- Respond to acute changes in patient status and escalate to the treating team as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to support care plans, discharge readiness, and transitions of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records, ensure safe medication administration, and uphold infection control standards
- Support patient and family education on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-discharge instructions
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Ability to work in a post-procedural and Med/Surg/Telemetry setting; ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotate between day and night schedules
- BSN or professional certification recognized by magnet standards is preferred
