Responsibilities
- Work in the GI lab under the direction of registered nurses.
- Assist gastroenterologists with GI procedures and related tasks as required.
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment; maintain sterile technique and readiness for procedures.
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures; monitor adult and geriatric patients and report concerns.
- Handle instrument sets, transport specimens as needed, and contribute to room turnover and post-procedure cleanup.
- Maintain safety, comfort, and positioning of patients throughout the procedure process.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital GI lab setting under RN supervision.
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment.
- Willingness to work a day shift (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day).
- Must be able to perform duties in a hospital environment and follow established protocols.
- Status to work in the United States and comply with assignment requirements as applicable.
