Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Glendale, California. Start date 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts (3x12s). Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice with an ER department that delivers triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care context. NCI is required and moderate sedation training is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Provide triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an ER setting; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; use critical thinking, professional judgment and independent decision-making.
- Assess patient condition, implement care plans, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other disciplines to coordinate care and ensure patient safety; educate patients and families as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and participate in quality improvement efforts when applicable.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- NCI required
- Moderate Sedation Training required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Education: RN degree (ADN/BSN acceptable)
