Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Travel assignment in Waterloo, New York. Start date: 04/21/2026. 13-week contract. Weekly pay: $421–$440 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a travel - temporary assignment. Orientation is required prior to full duties.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, focusing on age-appropriate needs of adult and geriatric residents.
- Assist with ADLs (hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination, turning/positioning, skin care) and document per policy.
- Maintain resident environment and safety: respond to call lights, monitor for safety risks, maintain unit cleanliness, and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Support residents’ nutritional needs: assist with meal delivery, tray setup, adaptive equipment, feeding, and nourishment, honoring resident preferences.
- Support rehabilitative/restorative care: assist with range of motion, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices; document progress per protocol.
- Observe and report changes in resident physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to charge or supervising nurse promptly; ensure resident rights and concerns are respected.
- Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and procedures and maintain documentation as required.

Requirements
- Active NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (NYS CNA) required; must be licensed for at least 1 year.
- BLS (American Heart Association or RQI) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of previous LTC experience as a CNA or in a CNA capacity.
- Availability for full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.
- Ability to work nights in a skilled nursing setting and handle tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
- Effective communication and documentation skills; ability to work as part of a care team and follow care plans.
