Certified Surgical Technologist needed for a travel temporary assignment in a hospital setting located in Rochester, New York. This Certified Surgical Tech position supports wide-ranging operative services and robotic-assisted cases. Start date is July 6, 2026, for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,285 to $1,298. The shift is 12-hour, with a rotating schedule covering days, evenings, and nights. This travel role is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Scrub for a broad range of surgical procedures across specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma cases (level 1 trauma center)
- Prepare sterile fields, arrange instruments and supplies, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Pass instruments, assist with intraoperative counts, and anticipate the surgeon’s needs
- Support robotic-assisted cases using DaVinci systems when required
- Assist with transplant procedures (liver, kidney, heart) as part of the program
- Collaborate with the OR team to position patients, handle specimens, and ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
Requirements
- NBSTSA certification as a Surgical Technologist, or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma setting is highly desired
- Able to scrub and assist in a variety of surgical cases; strong teamwork and communication skills
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Eligible to work in the United States; ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift
